South Africa, like a beautiful abstract painting.

I simply can´t put my memories of South Africa aside, constantly being reminded of what I experienced there in a much too short period.
Take this picture as an example, on the plane flying northwest from Cape Town to Windhoek in Namibia, just south of the border, drawn by the Oranje River.
Looking down you find the most amazing pictures you could dream of, abstract landscapes, even better (?) than the best abstract paintings.
The beauty is stunning, down on the ground it´s probably not as nice, dry and hot and tough conditions for vegetation and animals, so let´s forget that and just take this image in.
And. Never ever say that you don´t "understand" an abstract painting, take a look at this shot of nature, do you have to understand what you see?
No I thought so.
Meaning, you don´t really need to understand an abstract painting either, when you, let´s take an example, enter the Mark Rothko room in Tate Modern, London, just sit down, take what you see in to all your senses and nerves, enjoy and digest it.
Just like, I´m sure, you do with this "painting."
