This is Port Stephens, NSW Australia last week, the Heatherbrae blaze which ripped through the village destroying several homes and about 5,000 hectares of bushland, is believed to have been started by kids, among them an 11-year old and a 15-year old!!
They have now been arrested beeing charged with arson offences.
Psychologists says that while it is normal for children to be interested in fire, parents must be on guard when that interest turns to playing with fire.
On Black Saturday in Victoria a few years back, the majority of people who were arrested were youths.
About a third of people setting bush- or forestfires in Australia or in other countries, tend to be youths.
