When Elvis got hungry.

Or, it could also be that he got disturbed by the noisy mower.

Elvis is a nasty croc at Australian Reptile Park at Gosford, close to Sydney.

When a fellow was lawnmowing the park Elvis jumped up and got a bite of the machine, he then dragged it down into the water, dispite losing two of his teeth, he hold on to for a long time.

Later the staff distracted him with more tasty food, kangaroo meat, which gave a worker at the park the opportunity to recover the mower.

But Elvis is Elvis, going after everything that moves.
