Ugliest buildings - top three!

Top three, according to an un-scentific survey CNN did.
Ugliness, like beauty, is so personal, it´s in the eye of the beholder, so don´t take this too serious, everything is up to you.

Nevertheless, here they are, from top to bottom as follows:

1/ Ryugyong Hotel, Pyongyang, North Korea.
This pyramid-like tower of 330 meters, was probably erected as a kick to their neighbours south of the border, "everything you can do- we can do better...?"
It´s somehow a shame that the ruling party spends so much money on a complex like this, when people are deprived most of their democratic rights.
My own personal opinion, it shouldn´t top the list. Perhaps number three?

2/ Atlantis Hotel, Dubai.
This Disney- and sandcastle-like hotel, must have been a nightmare for the group of architects, that so very obvious was run over by a wealthy sheik of some kind.
My own opinion? I wouldn´t stay here even if it was a low-budget hotel. And the number two spot, is the right position.

3/ Palace of the Parliament, Bucharest, Romania.
This building has it´s own horrible story to tell, to give room for the monster, some 30,000 residences, 28 churches in the historic center of Bucharest had to be demolished.
A stalinist memory of the communist era and Nicolai Ceausescu - a so called man of the people - with his 1 100 rooms.
What I think? Should be on top of the list, high above the others, there is no uglier building to be found than this one.

This was my opinion, what´s yours?
