I rather write this in English so it will reach out a little further than the Swedish borderlines.Mia and I have last week visited Majorca (Mallorca) for a weeks break.
We booked our flight in early March, the price was not what the "low fares airline" advertises and brags about.
It was expensive, close to 300 Euros - each!
And mind you all, that was the only direct flight option we had at that time.
Anyway, the outbound flight was okey, what you expect, 7 euros for a hot baugette filled with grease named cheese, but still, thats´s what you expect and what you get.
But what you certainly do not expect is what happened on our return flight yesterday evening.
Ten minutes late on a busy airport is fair enough.
Takeoff at 19.35. A little over three hours in the air.
And you´re getting hungry.
The attendants handed out a list of foodstuff you could purchase onboard so when we wanted to order a hot slice of pizza for 7 euros and a hot sandwich for 5 they gave us the answer that made us decide never ever to fly Ryanair again: "Sorry but it´s all sold out, what we can offer you is candy, some nuts and possibly muffins if there are any left."
And this was for everyone onboard, Ryanair had simply not catered any food at Mallorca Airport!!
Why? Don´t they care about their passengers?
And if this wasn´t enough, when we landed they didn´t let us leave the plane for 25 minutes!
At 22.55 on Skavsta airport of all places!
No aircondition on, it got pretty humid in there.
The reason for not letting us leave the plane was, that passengers were boarding another airplane and there was a risk of "mixing the passengers".
At 23.30 they let os off.
By that time, many of the people onboard declared the same attitude as we did - never again.
Michael O´Leary, when will you ever learn?
When will you regard your costumers as people not cattle?
When will you stop selling smokeless cigarettes, Lottotickets and instead serve food to your passengers that are hungry?
To me Ryanair stinks!
